Marvel Studios is preparing to unveil its First Family in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, a stylish reboot inspired by the 1960s that merges retro-futurism with exciting superhero action. As they confront cosmic threats such as Galactus and the Silver Surfer, the team balances their heroic duties with the strength of their familial ties. Among them, Ben Grimm, known as The Thing, is portrayed by Ebon Moss-Bachrach, whose performance highlights not only the hero’s incredible strength but also his profoundly human qualities. Ben’s metamorphosis into the rocky-skinned powerhouse, while preserving his loyalty, heart, and sense of humor, ensures he remains Marvel’s beloved “ever-lovin”’, blue-eyed” hero.

Hot Toys is thrilled to introduce the 1/6th scale The Thing Collectible Figure. This figure showcases a rock-like textured body and comes with two interchangeable head sculpts: one normal and one bearded, both featuring a rolling-eyeball function and texture that captures his iconic rocky appearance. He is dressed in the Fantastic Four uniform made from blue and white ribbed fabric, with the upper part of the suit being removable, allowing collectors to display The Thing in his classic bare-chested style.

The outfit is completed with a belt featuring the Fantastic Four emblem and a pair of boots. The figure includes six interchangeable hands, such as fists, relaxed hands, and claw gesture hands for dynamic posing. Displayed on a specially designed figure base, he’s ready to clobber! A Special Edition, available only in select markets, will feature a specially designed The Fantastic Four: First Steps metal collectible card with a display case.
